D.I.D Vietnam was established in 2010 as a subsidiary of Daido Kogyo Co., Ltd., a leader in Japan’s chain industry.
In 2017, the company launched a chain assembly factory at the Thang Long Industrial Park II in Hung Yen Province, near Hanoi. The factory assembles and supplies motorcycle drive chains and engine timing chains (cam chains) locally, and its high quality and reliability have earned the support of motorcycle manufacturers worldwide, including those from Japan.
