Y CHI VIET CO.,LTD (formerly known as UPE – WATSON CO.,LTD) was founded in 1993 and was a joint venture company between the UNIPLAST (currently known as Tan Tien Plastic Joinstock Co.) and the WATSON EP of Singapore. The company was established by investment license no 496/GP issued by Ministry of Planning and Investment.

In 2010 the company signed successfully the agreement with The Lubrizol Corporation USA for being the first licensed manufacturer in Viet Nam to manufacture hot and cold piping systems under global registered brandname as belows:
● FLOW GUARD - hot & cold piping system for sanitary.
● COR ZAN - piping system for Industrial.

Since the foundation date the company has always considered quality and service as an leading important factor and constantly build and improve the quality management and environment system following the ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.As the result of best efforts the company successfully achieved the ISO 9001 in 2002.

From Jan 8th 2013 the joint venture license expired and the board management of the company decided to make a new beginning for the current company with a new name Y CHI VIET CO.,LTD. The board management believe the new company will continue to perform stronger and pass the remarkable success of the old company in last twenty years.
