We are located in the Mekong Delta, close to the rich aquaculture and fishing regions of the Mekong River and the East Sea. We sell our products worldwide under the brand names Seagull and Phuong Nam, and custom-pack products in a variety of styles with private-labels for many customers.
In 2008, Phuong Nam sold more than $85 million (U.S dollars), in 2009 sold $71 million (U.S dollars) of high quality seafood to the USA, Japan, Europe, Canada, Middle East and other countries. We anticipate 2010 revenues exceeding $120 million (U.S dollars) from a growing list of customers. Phuong Nam is currently ranked as the third biggest seafood and second biggest shrimp supplier in Vietnam.
Phuong Nam is equipped with the latest cutting edge technology machinery and equipments imported from Sweden, Denmark, UK, Japan and USA.
In 2009, we have expanded our black tiger and vannamei farming area to 1,500 hectares, and raise about 300 hectares in the coastal regions by ourselves. These advantages allow us to supply our customers with freshest and most delicious antibiotic-free products.
The reason Phuong Nam can get this dominant strength is because our advanced processes technique and the effective traceability system. We are able to trace all the way back to the origin of raw materials to the ponds, and ensure full control on shrimps hygiene and safety as well as banned antibiotics
