 Welcome to Bitexco Financial Tower!The Bitexco Financial Tower, the highest-ever skyscraper in Ho Chi Minh City, was open 2010.
Located on a 5,267 sq.m site in District 1 and surrounded by Hai Trieu, Ho Tung Mau and Ngo Duc Ke streets, and the HCM City State Treasury facing Nguyen Hue Boulevard, The Bitexco Fianancial Tower has a striking shape and a structure of steel and glass. The 68-storey tower, designed by American architects, looks elegant and light.
The tower is built at the cost of $220 million with 68 stories and 3 basements, reaching 262 meters in height, providing gross construction area of 100,000 square metres, reaching 262.5m in height. The tower will have 37,710 sqm of grade A offices for lease to international corporations and local companies and more than 8,000 sqm for retail.
The tower is shaped as a lotus petal, which is considered as the national flower of Vietnam. It is the first building to have a heliport on the 50th floor. The VIP Club is positioned beside the helipad of the building at 49th-50th floor with panoramic views over the whole city centre area.
The tower is not only special in architectural design, which has a lotus shape, but also in the advanced construction techniques using modern materials. A curtain wall has special functions such as low light reflectance, acoustic and thermal insulation qualities, solar control coating, high light transmittance, ceramic fritting and curved glass units. |
